"Uh-hunh," Dinah said, doubting that. Well, the crime part, not the uncrazy crime part. "You could move here, you know. Momoko's going to be here for a while sometime after New Year's. She's going to be done with her Academy training by then, try to figure out what she wants to do next. And Raven might be here in the Fall for classes too. So see, not must me to move for!"
"Sounds like you're building a mini-Fandom out there. I don't know, do you have a crazy hippie sandwich shop?"
"We have everything else in Gotham. I can find one for you!" Or hey, maybe Helena would be up for opening one? "Seriously. I wish we were in the same city, damnit."
"It'd be pretty sweet. I don't know, though. I get my ass kicked by the lowlife douchebags here. If I spend too long over there, I'd probably get myself killed."
"That is not a fun idea." Dinah frowned, almost pouting. "Then you just have to come visit this summer, after I visit, and ... we'll both visit Fandom and visit more often," she offered. Plus there was Tish, and all his friends in Santa Cruz, and... yeah.
"What we really need is a middle ground. A New Santa Cruztham or something."
"See, it even sounds cool," Dinah decided. "Someplace with a beach, and yet skyscrapers. Some place your friends would wanna be, and I'd have something to do."
"You know, you say 'beach and sky scrapers', and I just end up thinking 'not another LA'."
"Or Atlantic City," Dinah said, making a face. "Enh. We'll figure it out. Sometime. Until then... we'll always have Skype."

Today was Priestly's birthday, if Momoko remembered right from other!other!Momoko.
Hopefully he enjoyed the two t-shirts at least, and that the one present she hadn't been able to resist didn't make him feel uncomfortable.
The plushy vegetables were totally just for fun.

Dinah, of course, got him something suitably urban. Something cuisine-crime-related Also, something suitably bourbon. Also, more shiny!

Momoko wasn't sure if Priestly was coming to her ceremony or not, but she totally wanted him to see Dinah in a kimono, so as soon as she could steal a moment to herself, she was totally sending him a text with a picture she'd taken.

In today's mail, you might be shocked to find an actual paper invitation! And from Momoko of all people!
There was a small piece of paper included with the envelope that explained that she had also invited Jaime, Dinah, Raven, Karla, and Warren. Also that she had reserved a room, and would you please come stay for a couple of days, starting Friday, April 19, and relax. It also included portal coordinates to a point just a short walk from the inn, so no one got sent to the wrong place... at least, not the wrong place in her Japan, that is.
