Dinah swallowed, thinking how quiet and awkward that was going to be. "I think people are stupid like that when... they want something so bad, they can't believe it'll ever happen." Thinking of Momoko not telling Jaime she had a crush, of Jaime thinking Dinah was out of his league. "And with not trying, they at least get to keep the dream." She bit her lip. "It isn't smart. It's just how it is."
