By 'nice', Boaz meant she totally spoiled her.

Not that Boaz knew the reason; she just knew the spoiling part.

"... doesn't..." Momoko interjected, totally out of some weird habit as she stroked Alec's hair and tried to figure this one out.

"Doesn't." SIGH MOM! English had stupid rules sometimes.
