The clock ticked over past midnight, and Priestly, sprawled out on his bed with Ramone taking a nap on his head, chilling after the excitement of opening night, toasted the clock with a bottle of rum.
What? It was after midnight! Totally his birthday, and after surviving almost year so far in Fandom without going nuts or having his mother yank him out? He totally deserved a good night of getting quietly sloshed with himself.
Tomorrow he'd do the whole social thing. Really.
