"I don't know, man," Priestly was saying. "I just really have the urge to watch a whole bunch of reality TV."

"What, like The Bachelor?" Tish asked.

"Mythbusters," Jen guessed.

"I like Food Network," said Piper. When they all looked at her, she shrugged. "What? I like to cook."

Priestly shook himself. "Man, that will never stop being weird." He grinned. "You know, we should totally do our own reality show. Like The Real World or Big Brother only with subs --"

He was cut off by the bell over the door. Two polo shirted, schwoopy haired preppy looking dudes walked in, paused in the doorway, and lifted their sunglasses.

"Oh look," Priestly muttered. "Synchronized douchebags." Tish shot him a death glare as she snatched the order pad from Piper, and he pretended to refocus on his grill.

"What can I get you?" Tish asked the khaki twins.

"We phoned it in," said the brunette. "Two spicy Italian subs."

Tish shifted against the counter and looked him over. "How big?"

"Ten. Inches."

"Total?"

The brunette smirked. "Each, of course." The blonde nodded like a bobblehead. Priestly rolled his eyes. Tish let out a pleased sigh. Priestly rolled his eyes even harder.

Piper held the two subs up and waited patiently for Tish to break eye contact with the brunette long enough to notice.

"I'm Tish," Tish said, with a breathy exhale. She passed the subs over.

The brunette pulled out a twenty like he was paying a cheap hooker, took the subs, and left. Tish sighed again and swooned.

"Did that work for anyone else?"

Priestly feigned a swoon of his own. "Oh totally!" he said. Tish smacked him with a towel.

"Possibly? I can't think why she was making that up, but I checked to see if 'you' mentioned a new employee. Mandy. She jumped right on and said sure! So feel free to make crap up about 'Mandy' the next time you talk to her. Just e-mail me with the details." Dinah snickered. "Maybe it'll get her to tell me what happened for real."

"Well, you know, Mandy is the worst server we've ever had here." And now Priestly finally noticed all the glances his coworkers were shooting him. "That's not code, you guys, we're inventing someone."

Dinah snickered again, and said, "Does she have a crush on Trucker? I could see that, you know. He's all zen. If you're into older guys... and everyone's totally looking at you funny, aren't they."

"Awwwww! They just don't appreciate the secret awesome of Sous. Wait, Jen does. Without knowing your secret identity."

"Exactly." Dinah grinned. "So I'm calling you later again when philosophy freaks me out this semester. Or if I make up new stuff to lie to Karla about."

"Oh no, not Dinah calling. Whatever will I do?"

"Work for a living?" Tish offered.

"Aww, Tish, I didn't know you cared!"

"Somehow cope, and make really awesome sandwiches, and tell Tish I said hi, and tell Jen and Trucker I said hi, and tell Mr. Julius to quit picking on you," Dinah inhaled, "And send me photos of the graffiti? Unless it would get you arrested. You know I'm not in favor of that."

"Hey Mr. Julius," Priestly called. "Dinah says to stop picking on me!"

"It builds character," said Mr. Julius.

"Wait, are you saying I shouldn't send you evidence of my wrong doings?"

"Does it make me an accessory before or after the crime?" Dinah frowned. "I should look that up, if I know you're gonna do it... Heh. Should I just quit crimefighting and go evil right now, and save time? Dig out the red boots?"

Yeah, like that would happen.

"If I do enriching graffiti, maybe it's not illegal any more?"

"Hey Priestly," Trucker said. "You can graffiti the alley wall if you want."

"Dude." Priestly shot him a thumbs up. "Wait," he said to Dinah. "If I do legal graffiti, will you still wear the red boots?"

"Hey!" Dinah snickered, then decided, "If you do graffiti and don't get arrested, I'll definitely break those out the next time I visit. No promises what I'll wear 'em with, though."

"I'm withholding boots until I see what it is," Dinah said, giggling again. "If I like it, I'll wear them with leggings. If it's *awesome*..."

Heh. Well, that wasn't going to happen. Probably.

Priestly's eyes went a little wide.

". . . Piper, can you teach me how to do graffiti?"

Because it'd be fun to get Dinah out of her comfort zone. Yes.

Priestly should possibly reconsider demanding she try doing it.
