lovemykilt: (Priestly in pink)
[personal profile] lovemykilt
Priestly was sleeping in, today, thank you very much. Unless his housemate woke him up to demand breakfast, he wasn't planning on being up until well into the afternoon. He'd woken up long enough to note that he wasn't feeling crazy horny for the first time in a week and decided that that deserved a nice, long morning off from doing anything remotely adult-like or responsible.

The plan was doomed, but he didn't know that yet. The couch was comfortable, Dean was running the diner, Momoko was . . . doing whatever she was doing this morning, and all was right with the world.

[ooc: for a particular child, but also open for other visitors, including and especially the one who arrived last night, should she care to ping.]

Kayla looked at Sin, puzzled. "You look like a little girl from my mama's pictures," she said. "Is your name Sin?"

Another blink, then Sin nodded. "Yes. And you are Aunt Karla's little girl. But a different age. You know of me, but-- we haven't met before?" This weekend just kept getting stranger.

"You're in some pictures Mama keeps," Kayla explained again. "But Auntie Dinah doesn't have you yet. Mama says that it's not time yet and that is Auntie Dinah doesn't call for her when the time does come, she's gonna kick Auntie Dinah in the butt."

All class, that Karla.

Sin's smile widened, and she said, "She will, yes."

Uh, no telling which "she" that was there. "I then go to live in New Gotham with Sister, and eventually Lasumi and Momoko. We have -- will?" She paused. "Visit Glacia. I've been here to Fandom once before, through a portal. You were not here that time, though."

"Oooh! I hope that's soon! I like new friends!" Kayla did a happy little butt-wiggly dance. "You can come over and we can eat nummy foods and play with the Scelties and swim inna loch!"

So many adventures!

"Who's Lasumi? Mommy doesn't have a picture of him."

"My little brother. He's half of Momomama and half of Sister. It was magic." Sin rolled her eyes. "He's a mischief demon. Only not really. Just kind of."

"Little brothers are like that," Kayla commiserated. "I bet he smells funny, too."

"Sometimes." Sin wrinkled her nose. "He likes baths. But he likes getting messy so he needs baths more. And he's always jumping off things!"

Gee, wonder who he got *that* from. "How old is Nommy?" A complicated question, this weekend.

HELLO, AUNT DINAH. EVEN KAYLA KNEW THAT. BECAUSE RAPPELLING DOWN THE ESTATE, THAT WAS WHY.

"He's four!" Kayla said, wrinkling her nose. "Except there's a Nommy here who is all old and has a stupid beard."

DON'T JUDGE HER, RAPPELLING DOWN THINGS GOT SIN OUT OF VIETNAM.

"A beard?" Ahahhhahaah! Sin was trying to picture that and almost hurting something. "Like Uncle Priestly?!"

BUT RAPPELLING DOWN WHERE LITTLE EYES CAN WATCH IS A BAD PLAN!

"Yeah! But not as cool as Unca Priestly's." Because, by definition, Unca Priestly was cooler than Nommy was. "His hair isn't any fun colors, neither."

Well, that was pretty darn inarguable.

"We could tell him to dye his hair colors," Sin offered, smiling. "'Cause we know fashions. Where did he go?"
