"I think he might be about to. He's trying to reason with Geoffrey."

And they all knew how foolish that was.

"I'm hoping for some tears, myself. Was that Tony? HI TONY!"

"It was! Priestly says hi!" Dinah told each of them in turn, then to Tony, "Geoffrey checked himself into a mental hospital last week and he was really crazy because he left us with some doofy pretentious director guy who had Edward arrested for threatening him.

"Is he crying yet? OOooo!" Dinah said, returning to Priestly. "Tell me he's crying!"

"Hi Priestly! Go Geoffrey!" Tony called.

"Not that I can see yet. And this guy seems like the explosive overdramatic sobbing type." Priestly sneered. "Man, and I totally gave him a sandwich with sundried tomatoes. On ciabatta. If I'd known Geoffrey was coming back, I'da dumped that tuna salad on his head."

"He so didn't deserve that after last week," Dinah said, shaking her head, and taking the phone back as Tony drove the car. "You are a diplomat and a peacemaker, Priestly. Maaan, I wish I could be there. If I'd known Geoffrey would've come back today, I'd have gotten a portal just for this rehearsal!" She grinned. "Kill him a lot, Geoffrey!" She sighed. "Darnit."

"Oh, dude, he totally just tackled him!"

Priestly didn't think to mention who was tackling whom.

"YES!" Dinah punched the air. "Wait, Geoffrey tackled him, right? Right?"

"Dude, in the face! In the face!" Priestly cheered. "Huh? Oh, yeah, totally. Darren just surrendered. He has 'delicate bone structure'."

Darren could probably hear her laughing all the way from Vancouver even without the phone.

"Awesome." Dinah sighed happily. "And the right triumphs. I love theater."
